Sales
Sheets
Sales
sheets, also known as flyers or cut sheets, are complete product information
sheets. A good sales sheet presents the key information to the viewer
in an attractive manner at an affordable price. The sheet might contain
information about additional accessories, options such as color and size,
and specifications. It is usually a one- or two-sided 8 1/2" x 11"
sheet of paper. It can be printed in black and white, one color, two colors,
three colors, or four colors and on a wide variety of papers, referred
to as stock, such as matte and glossy. Four color printing uses combinations
of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black and allows for 50,000 possible different
colors. Sales sheets are useful and flexible. They can be handed out during
trade shows to entice possible clients. Salesmen find sales sheets a useful
complement to a sales pitch, a colorful way of engaging a possible client.
Sales sheets are often used with some changes for ads in trade magazines
and are also sent out as part of a direct mail promotion.
Dynamic Digital Advertising's
designers begin the interactive process of creating the sales sheet by
asking for material from a client. A layout is created based on how much
information needs to be presented. The layout of the sales sheet focuses
viewer on the product or the service, drawing their eyes along a path.
This eye path presents the selling points coherently, wrapping up a strong
argument for the product or service neatly and leaving the viewer interested
and informed. The designer creates images and graphics to complement the
text and fill out the sales sheet, emphasizing the orderly presentation
of information without becoming distracting.
Dynamic Digital Advertising offers a range of services to assist the client
to create an eye-catching sales sheet. Products can be digitally photographed
to present them in the best light possible. Images supplied by the client
can be scanned at high resolution and digitally manipulated. Illustrations
and 3D models can also be used to create just the right look. The designer
and the client interact privately during this design process via telephone,
email, and the internet. The design-in-progress can be displayed in a
private folder on the web; a client may offer advice while looking directly
at the design without needing to be at Dynamic Digital Advertising in
person. Often, a designer only needs to do one revision based on a client's
constructive criticism. Dynamic Digital Advertising strives to eliminate
any possible mistake in a multi-stage proofing process. Designs are initially
proofed in black and white. They are then proofed again in color and yet
again when they are printed to film. When the final sales sheet is produced
digitally or through traditional offset in printer film, it is the perfect
selling device.
